Newbie question... | Auction Sniper

Maybe I haven't looked hard enough, but I can't find an answer to my question in the registration section.

I just set up my first snipe by clicking the "Try Auction Sniper for Free!" link, but when I looked a little further I noticed a note in the "Payment Details" section that says "Adding a credit card to your account ... will activate your account".

I'm assuming that my account is active for the first three snipes even if I haven't added a credit card, since it hasn't asked me for one yet... but I'd hate to miss out on my bauble because of a newbie mistake!

Do I need to add a credit card number now, or only after my first three freebies?

Only after your first 3 wins.
After your free snipes, you will not be able to enter snipes ( I think ) till there is a payment method given. (and you only use a snipe when you win)
