If I have a proxy bid in on e-bay at 100.00 and the high bid now is 75.00 should i snipe at 100.00 or will I be bidding against myself.

You'd be bidding against yourself. If you don't intend to bid any higher on the item, then let your proxy stand and cancel your AS snipe because if you win you'll have to pay AS a (small) fee even though it's your proxy that wins the auction. This is because AS snipes as it's told whether or not it's a meaningful snipe, so you pay the fee for the snipe if you win that auction. So, cancel the snipe and next time don't bid at all unless it's through AS. That way nobody will see you coming until it's too late.
