hi , i have just over $5 in my account on auctionsniper, i wish to snipe an item for around £1600.00, will i have enough to cover the transaction, i have difficulty working out snipers fee structure, will it be 1% of the final price + $5.00, or just a maximum of $5.00.
hope someone gets my drift - thanks!!!

New users are not charged for the first three auctions they win using Auction Sniper. Thereafter, we charge only 1% of the final auction price with a minimum fee of US$0.25 and a maximum fee of US$5.00 for only the auctions that you win. Please review the chart below.

Item Amount Fee
Auction won that ended at $25.00 USD or less $0.25 USD
Auction won that ended between $25.01 and $499.99 USD 1% of final price
Auction won that ended at $500.00 or more $5.00

Notes:
There are no additional fees for adult category or eBay Motors auctions.
Foreign currency auctions (GBP, AU dollars, etc) will be converted to American dollars at the daily currency exchange rate before the 1% fee is determined.

Payment Details

Your credit card will be billed on the last week of each month if your balance exceeds $2.50 USD. If your balance is below $2.50 USD, it will be carried over to the next month for a maximum of three months at which time your account will be charged regardless of the total amount due. Note: AuctionSniper does not pay the seller of items you've won using our service. The fees we collect are only for the cost of using our snipe service. You must pay the seller of your won items in your normal

Thanks mrs M, i've used sniper a few times now, i was just unsure as to if my bid would be ok, with just over $5.00 in my account.
i was told by a friend that for the snipe amount £1600, that i would have to pay $5.00, plus 1% of the final price and my balance would not cover it.
But if it's a $5.00 maximum charge that should be fine then? please reassure me
