Hey everyone-
I scanned threw some of the questions and didn't see this exact question, but I'm sure it'll be a repeat, so I apologize.
Here's my dilemma. There is a company in my town that gets great deals on the clothes I love. I recently started trying to bid on them, and found there is an ebay user that almost exclusively snipes this seller. Tens to hundreds of items are bought each day, always at the last minute. I've looked through the bid history, and the time sniped ranges from 8 seconds, to 1 second, with no apparent sniper rivalry I'm wondering, A- does the inconsistency in times suggest this user is manually sniping, and B - is it worth buying a program...which seem to all suggest not going below 3 seconds before auction close, if this person (either by program or manually) sometimes does it at 1 second before close. I imagine I'd be able to get away with some auctions, but I worry this user might catch on that they have competition, and make their last bid consistently at 1 second before close.
Suggestions?
