I just downloaded sniper 100. The link in the programs bar has no file associated, I have to find it to launch.

Also once up and running, I try to load favorites and it freezes my cpu up.

I just downloaded the fix listed above and it says I have another instance running.

I guess I should've noticed the DATES on this post before I tried the download! Because my AS toolbar link doesn't work properly anymore (and there's apparently no fix), I downloaded and installed this. It took considerable time and effort, and NOW it's disappeared from my computer! OS is Win Me- any suggestions?

uhh...ok...so what happens if you d/led and installed the program before installing that other program that was posted later? it doesn't even show up on my list of programs in control panel.

if this program jacks up my computer i'm going to be pissed... Mad

This "New super browser" causes more problems then it's worth.
Nothing faster.. or easier then going directly to AS web page and placing your snipe/s!

Hi folks,

I'm new to the forum and have been having a grand time using AS now for a few short weeks. I would also like to know whether a Mac version of the Snipe Browser is in the works or intended to be. Can someone at least say "yes" or "no" or (hopefully even) "perhaps"? There are a lot of us out here, you'd be surprised. And we use eBay all the time to buy and sell collectibles, antiques, music, DVDs, electronics, you name it.

Installed the program on my Win XP Home Ed. and the WIN XP Pro on my Laptop and they work perfectly. Sniping from E_BAY is now
Effortless.. Now All I have to do is drop in the bid amount.

At first I couldn't see the AS Icon and thought it didn't load....not so it was hidden on the right side as there were too many Icons in the tool BAR already. So I dropped Media & History which I don't use .. and the AS ICON jumped in place.. I'm a very Happy Sniper - Big Thanks to the Programmers - mory

Right click on it, click properties, and see where it points to. Should be something like "C:\Program Files\AuctionSniper\AuctionSniper.net.exe"

If you go to that folder and click on "AuctionSniper.net.exe" it should start the new AS browser.

I had to install MS dotnet framwork, since my Win 2000 Prof didn't come with it.

The new AS browser now works fine on my computer.
Hello, I am only writing to this thread because I am unable to find how to post my own topic. I want to post my own topic because I am unable to contact Auction Sniper Support, if it actually exists.

I have been receiving several spoof emails and I am concerned that they are originated through my auction sniper account. Because of the lack of security here, I am worried that someone may have access to my account.

I need to find an itemized list of my bill. It seems that auction sniper simply makes up a figure and deducts it from your bank account! I have tried to contact Auction Sniper with no success! Gawd, even registering to this board was a hassle.

If anybody knows the secret of how to get some service and explanations about your bill here, I would appreciate it.

I think it stinks that they take your money and then there's no easy way to find the itemized bill at this site. Makes me think that somebody isn't being honest here.

I have to be honest with you -I absolutely dread coming to Auction Sniper. It's always a hassle. Over a year ago, I stopped using the service but I came back to give it another try hoping that things had improved.

Thank you. When I tried that before, nothing happened. I don't know what I did wrong. Now, when I try it again a pop-up opens.

So this is a vicious cycle: Fill out a report questioning billing and receive an email sending you back to the same page to fill out a report. That's why I was asking if there is a way to actually contact support or if it even exists.

It is difficult to figure out how someone has targeted you for spoof emails. I am obviously suspicous of AuctionSniper.com because the emails coincide with my resent snips. Yes, the spoofs could be because of anything but I would be a fool not to consider AS.

Thank you, again "Charge Details" wasn't working before!
I am being charged $1.52 for an auction with no date and which doesn't exist at ebay.

Strange. That usually does the trick. No one on this forum has ever reported that happening (if my memory serves).

You might try using that support link again tomorrow.

Well, there are three AS support persons (that I remember) that post on this forum: Sniper Bill, Sniper Sara B., Donovan J.
There are also others in support that only respond to support requests and don't get involved with the forum.



Someone from support might also respond here, but it might not be until Monday. In the mean time, you could click on the Notify tab (towards the top), so that any responses posted here will be emailed to you (saves the time checking this forum).

If all else fails, open up a new topic (I’d recommend giving it a couple of days) so that your issue isn’t buried in this thread.
OUCH!!! I just lost an auction because I didn't realise you had changed your format since I won my last auction with your service. I went to what I was watching and put in my max bid and clicked on the check box to bring it into my snipes like I always have for the past several YEARS and thought I was DONE but it brought it into another sort of "watching" page and I wasn't paying attention, it looked enought like what I was used to and I was on the phone at the time and suddenly the auction was over and I didn't hear the "OH YEAH" and did some more looking and OUCH, I was still WATCHING the silly thing! WHY, for Heaven's Sake, have multiple stages of "Watching"? I'm either watching or bidding! Why throw another LEVEL into the process? REALLY bummed me OUT! Been using you for years and referring anyone who'll listen to me to you 'cause I've never been anything but HAPPY with you before. Since I started using your service I've NEVER lost an auction unless I was actually OUTBID before this but I was willing to pay OVER $100.00 more than the final winning bid on this one I just was still "Watching" though without realizing a new layer had been added since last time!
