New seller

Hi there,

I've been reading these boards for a while and decided to register at last.

Just need some advice really.

I'm a pretty new seller on ebay, I've sold one or two things and everything has gone smoothly.

I sold something about a month ago and didn't receive payment in the first week. The buyer emailed me and said that he couldn't send a cheque but he would get someone to pay for him and I would receive the cheque soon. That was on the 3rd April and still no payment. I've emailed him again twice telling him that I still hadn't received payment and he hasn't even replied.

I've told ebay that he hasn't paid but do you think I should leave it a week before I leave negative feedback? Baring in mind that the auction ended over a month ago now?

Any advice would be appreciated

If you've given up hope of receiving payment, go ahead and leave feedback. If you still have some hope left, hold off.

You have 90 days (really even more) to leave feedback. Once left, it can not be taken back without spending $20 to get it removed... and that's only if both parties agree on the removal.

When I have a dud seller I send a *Payment Reminder*, then the *Non Paying Bidder* Alert and then 10 days after that - I file the *Final Fee Credit*....only after all 3 of those are done, do I leave the Negative Feedback. Alot of people seem to panic after they get the NPB warning from ebay and pay up, but I figure, by the time it gets to the Final Fee Credit, ebay considers the deal dead, so I leave the feedback.

I agree with Lexie. This is exactly how I would handle the problem. Personally, I would never let the situation go for a month!

Better late than never.

Rick,...If your into sharing, where or how did you get the Flag welcome in that size. I can only find it in this size and it doen't enlarge well for me.
