Roll Eyes Last week I cleaned corn husks out of all the flower beds. Bah, I get so irritated with that mess. Just because I grew up on a farm doesn't mean I like all of it!
So.....after our 24 hours of 40mph winds guess what I get to do again!! Must be some way to make some cash off these things!!

Yes! Well, as long as someone doesn't decide to send them back in. I sure hope not. I can't imagine being one of those soldiers. So excited to finally be getting out of that terrible place, and actually be on the way home. Then they tell you that you have to go back in. Terrible. They must be so angry and depressed. I don't think that will be a good army.
It will be another month at least proly. I'll just feel better when he's right here beside me! Smile

Uggg, I was up about 6 times and had to go look to see if water was coming up the basement drain again. Even tho the plumber said it was because the end of the drain tube froze up wayyyyy down at the ditch, I don't trust murphey!! I have drain-phobia!
Hubby was right , no water.....this time. I hope the plumber was right. He's supposed to be coming to put an overflow about 10feet back from the end of the tube. .....Maybe I should call and remind him. Heh, at 3am?!!!

I have carpal tunnel in my hands and a little arthritis in my knees ... I can usually tell when the weather is changing because my knees are stiff when I wake up Smile Aspirin works for me - I'm glad I don't have to go the prescription route yet.

Good ole Murph is getting me ... the weather is supposed to turn nice again, but by the time I have a day off it's supposed to rain! I swear, that's the only time the weather forecasts are right! I have a day off ... it rains Frown
