AS works well, as long as you understand that it is not magic. It is the same as you entering a bid manually a few seconds before the auction ends. You want to set your snipe bid to the maximum you are willing to pay, no matter what that is. Don't try to second-guess other bidders.

Also, set the advance time to at least 7 seconds.
