I'm in the UK.
My address on AS is England, UK.
I click on the Union Jack at the top so I always use http://uk.auctionsniper.com and all the links from my pending snipes go to the www.ebay.co.uk pages. This is good!
So why, with Auctionsniper aware of all the above, does it insist on linking me to www.ebay.com from other places such as emails to me when I win?
You might think that this is not a problem but, as I've pointed out before, it is! For example, say I win an item (it happens occasionally) and I get a report from AS telling me the news, there is a link at the top to the item. This link is to the .com page rather than the .co.uk page.
"So What?!" I hear you cry. Well, listen in... If I then follow the link to the item and then decide to, say, contact the seller, I'm asked to enter my ebay ID and Password as it detects that I'm not logged in. However, I am logged into ebay, just not the .com website. This becomes tedious as I am forever entering my ID and Password as I toggle back and forth between .com and.co.uk.
Suggestion: Make all links to ebay items in emails etc from AS reflect the chosen Ebay website of the customer!
