HMMMM, sounds like a good little tool, I went through the process of installing it on Windows XP however when I right click on the Ebayers ID and select the Negative f/back option nothing happens what am I doing wrong?

You got further than I did. I couldn't even get Negs to appear on the menu.

May give it another try after my next backup.

Sure you got the additional files copied to c:\ or did they end up somewhere else?

Yes I saved it to a new folder on the C drive, seems like everything is there it just wont work, wonder if its something in my internet settings or firewall?

I think they have to be in your root directory.

Seems I was running another program that also adds an extra menu item. Now lets see if I can get them both to work at the same time.

Would you mind walking me through the process, it does sound like a handy little tool.

Are you running windows XP?

During install when you right click on the two files and Save Target As a popup window appears.

• Click on the icon that appears to be a folder with a green up arrow. Keep clicking on it till the colored icon loses it color.
• The Save in field should now say desktop.
• From the list in the window Double click My computer and then
• Double click C:.
• THIS is the root dir of c:. Click the Save button

If you can find the folder they were copied to earlier, you can delete them from that folder. If you can't find them, they are very small and won't do anything on their own, so don't worry about it.

(edit) Why did I have you do all that? ... much easier way...
After the popup window appears, down at the bottom, insert C:\ in front of the file name (no spaces) and click save.

OK, this is getting a little frustrating, followed yor instructions (thankyou) and still no luck, what did you name the folder you saved them to?
Maybe I have something disabled on my PC that is preventing it from running.
Appreciate your help.

BTW I am running XP.

They are not in a folder, they are in the root directory.

C: is the dirve

c:\ is the root directory

c:\windows is a folder
c:\anything is a folder

Do you know if you are running Java and have scripts enabled?

This is going to be very hard to explain. Do you know a computer person that might be able to help?

After your last message I tried again and this time all is well, it works.
Seems that after navigating to C: the box was very slow to change from open to save, this was confusing me as I did not seem to be able to save it, only open, anyway while I was sitting looking at it wondering what to do it the save option came up and here we are.
Well done and thankyou again.

It would be even better if it bought up the actual comments wich are much more helpfull than figures.
