My Snipes - Searches : not working

i just reported the same thing yesterday.

It's accepted by all that frequent these forums that AS searches are PANTS! (ie. they don't work!). Use eBay's searches instead or pop over to BM and pay through the nose for their excellent searches!

What is BM?

BM = Buying Manager

No sniping at BM, and they charge for all wins. Even if you place your bid manually or use AS. They do everything else very well.

Unsolicited Advice: If you're not a heavy user, and don't need a program to help manage your wins, use eBay searches.

My searches have all been working perfectly for months. They are working perfectly right now in fact.

you are so WRONG. Put any word in ANY Words and I will gaurantee you, you will not get any response!!!!

It is better than it was Sunday and I just got an email from your support saying that it is an issue

Strange. I get all my searches emailed to me.

I'm not sure I see the purpose of searching directly from our site. It's far easier to search on eBay and then use our "Snipe It Now" feature. I'm sure they are working on fixing it though.

i can't believe these responses from as support.

Please read, when you put any word in "any words", the damn thing doesn't work. I schedule these and they DON'T work.

Sara, yours probably work OK 'cos you are not advanced searching. In the UK, we have to use the Advanced search and that definitely doesn't work. I did have several Support Calls open on this very subject until AS support saw fit to close them.

Another instance of AS support at its best...

There was talk of moving the BM searches across to AS (why re-invent the wheel) but I guess that's unlikely with the run-away success of BM.

In Australia I use Search and Snipe as it searches the Aus Ebay site easily. The search function has a lot of propblems over here.

Crikey, a third person for whom the searches aren't working...

I'll keep my fingers crossed. It's an interesting approach, both now and in the future. But, I think the forum is past that hurdle.
