Multiple snipes

What are the intervals between the closing times of the four auctions? You could set up snipes on the first and last auctions, and if you win on the first you might have time to cancel your second snipe. In theory, if the intervals between the auctions were long enough you could arrange four snipes serially and cancel the ones you don't need. In the final analysis, though, there's nothing better than coming in with your best bid, the most you're willing to spend, on the first one. If you lose, it's because it would have cost you more than you wanted to spend. Good luck!

The easiest way is to set a Bid Group! On the page that lists your snipes, on the right hand side click on "new|delete" next to folders. This will take you to the screen where you can set a up a Bid Group. On the left hand side of this screen is a place you can click on for the tutorial for Bid Groups.

As long as the auctions all end more than a minute apart, you can set up a Bid Group. I've done this many times and it's a great feature. It allows your to set up several snipes for a particular item. AS will keep submitting your snipes on each successive auction until you win one of them. It will then automatically cancel the rest you have set up in the group. The tutorial should explain everything. Good luck!!

Thanks, star_trkr. I don't know that much about Bid Groups because I seldom if ever have a situation where I need to use one. The stuff I'm looking for doesn't come up on eBay in bunches.
