Message from AS to seller?

I rec'd an email from the seller in a recent successfully sniped auction in which he mentioned that the address he rec'd for me from Auction Sniper was different from the one I used when I paid using an online payment service (I usually have items shipped to my office). Why would Auction Sniper be sending the seller ANY message concerning me??? Is this SOP???

Hi Bob,
If you duck into "My Snipes", then "Modify Account" and scroll down to the "Instamail" feature and turn that off - it will stop AS sending out those pesky notifications.

Its AS only real way of advertising, besides word of mouth.
