I'm new to ebay and AS. I'm excited to try it but have a question.
If I put in a maximum price of $20 and the current price is $10, will my snipe be for $20 or the next bid increment above $10?

The bid AS makes will be $20. Placing a bid with AS is just like bidding at eBay, except your bid is placed at the very end of the auction.
Remember the final price is not the highest max bid, it's the next bid increment above the second to highest bid.
If no one else bids on the item, even though your bid is $20, your final cost will be $10.50 (plus shipping)

One thing, you might want to be sure that the 20 is your maximum and that if someone bids more, you will feel that they overbid. Also, you might want to have an odd amount eg. 20.47 or some other odd number.
Just a thought.. Also while you are waiting for your first snipe, you might want to read the help tab and then bid groups. It is the icing on the cake.
