Motorhead,
If you are using AS, you shouldn't be placing proxy bids. It defeats the purpose of sniping. When you snipe, you don't want to let others know you're interested in the item. Decide what the maximum amount you are willing to pay, and then use that as a snipe. PLEASE don't leave a proxy bid. Let AS do the work.
A couple of questions for you:
1) Do you want any advice on your 3 loses?
2) Do you want any advice on lead times?
3) Do you have any other questions?

You took off - bummer. 2 minutes - I was hoping I had a live one.
>> Or is it that the High Proxy amount will always win a MAX BID? << - Auctions on ebay are determined by who the highest bidder is (excluding bid increment - we have a resident guru named Andrew that handles tough questions in this area). If a sniper is the highest bidder, then the sniper is the winner.
>> I won my 1st, but have lost 3......<< - That's only because someone was willing to pay more for the item then you were. Keep using AS to place your snipes. In a couple of weeks you'll kick yourself for not using it sooner.
