I use snipe it now from my toolbar and get an error message "Could not find the item.", I am sitting at the item in eaby but the snipe doesn't take. I even tried loggin into AS then browsing over to the mature audiences area to amke sure there wasn't a password issue and then I tried placing the snipe from AS. Ideas?
I was able to bid but I hate using ebay to bid early in an acution

Thanks

I started getting this same error message yesterday morning. I emailed support and they sent a response an hour plus later saying they had no problem and that I needed to register a credit card. I've also been doing adult items for over 6 years on ebay, so card wasn't the problem. After I received their response, I tried again and was able to place snipe without a problem. This morning, the same error is back and using the back button doesn't help. It appears that AS has a problem.
I tried the back button up to 5 times on each error and still didn't work. It's now around 12:30pm pacific time here. I just tried again and all snipe placements went smoothly. It would seem that AS has an intermitten problem. I hope they find it, because on weekdays I leave very early for work and have to place snipes before I leave for auctions ending while I'm at work. I can't just hang around the computer all day waiting for the problem to clear itself.
Hi, guys!

I don't really think the fact that you are interested in the "adult" items has anything to do with it. I have been having all kinds of similar problems, without ever having visited the "adult" section. The darn thing's just buggy right now!

I know eBay itself was down for me the other day - well, virtually down. All my items won/items watched, etc. showed as (0) items in every category, and when I tried to snipe, or even leave feedback through eBay, it said item not found.

Then, the next day, my AuctionSniper started acting weird, too. Perhaps the snafu at eBay triggered the problem at AS, or perhaps eBay made changes that AS hasn't caught up with yet.

You're right - it is intermittent, but more dysfunctional than not. I'm sure they're scrambling to fix it - at least, I like to think they are! Wink The sooner the better!
