Right now, I have to click on Update Item Info to find out the current price (and that is so NOT intuitive, I didn't know it until support told me about it). That should be done as a default view upon logging in, so that you know where your auctions stand. (Example: i had an auction that my snipe was too low on, but it wasn't showing the yellow warning banner, nor had i rec'd an email--I just happened to catch it and was able to modify). The current item price should be updated upon ever login automatically.

Most people click the "remember me" button, and thus only have to log in like once a year. So it would never update for them. Others dont want the info.

We have to go to eBay and pull up the eBay page on every item you are sniping. If you are sniping 25 items, that's 25 eBay pages our servers have to pull up just to get the current bid. Which in turn costs money are server CPU processing. It also puts additional load on eBay which they are fond of.

It was a compromise between cost, convience, and what eBay wouldn't mind us doing.

Thank you
