MAINTENANCE TIMING | Auction Sniper

Hi Does anyone else think that the Snipe system should tell you if your auction ends within a time period when the maintenance is scheduled for? I didn't even know about the maintenance until my snipe was placed 2 hours early (giving plenty of time for another bidder to get in and place their HIGHER bids)
They put in about 8 bids to try and beat mine (which they did!) If the snipe had worked, I would have won the item for about £3 when it went for £12.
If at the time of setting up the snipe it had told me about the maintenance, I would have sat and watched the auction and sniped it manually!!!

I do. It’s covered in the FAQs, but since not everyone gets to the FAQs, something more proactive would be an improvement.

It can't be hard to put up some sort of message - I've asked and asked - I guess AS don't care 'cos it only affects non-USA customers...
