Shirley,

That usually means that someone deleted a post. It's one of the reasons I try to avoid deleting posts. It keeps the Home page cleaner to edit out the post and just leave a Graemlin. Also, once someone posts anything to that forum, the information comes back. You'll see that happen the more time you hang around here.

We did have a strange thing happen with Puppy (I think it was Puppy). Somehow when he deleted one of his posts it caused the entire topic to become "invisible". There were several other posts on the topic. We were able to get it back, but Puppy became a little delete-shy for awhile.

But this is not just one topic or one forum -- it's the whole page. If I open each individual forum, those pages are up to date. But the main Forums page (the one you get when you click the Forum tab in the header) hasn't updated in about an hour. If I click on the most recent post, I get yours from LosingSleep's topic: "I tend to only "hire" what I "need". "

Is that normal, or isn't that page usually "live"?

I assume you're refreshing the Home page for the forum?
