I have been using auction sniper for a short while and it has worked flawlessly, however I've now hit a problem.
I am looking at various 'scrapbooking' items, however the majority of these are 0.99p items. I'm looking at buying quite a lot of these items, so all of those 25c minimum charges are going to add up, and are a significant portion of the cost of a 0.99p item.
Would it be possible to introduce a discount or something if you win many low cost snipes?

The thing is, I'm in asia, and these auctions are in the UK. They all finish at 4-5 in the morning. If I bid before I go to bed, there's no way in hell I'll win. So snipe I must

SInce the items are being won inexpensively, anyway, I would call even the total with AS' fee a great deal.

My suggestion is that you write to the sellers and offer them a deal - I'll take a 100 of these at 99p or whatever.

If thats the prevailing price, the'll do better with you anyway as there are no ebay fees.

I buy a lot of items like that also. I do them one of two ways. If they start out at perhaps .25, I bid the .25 and put in a proxy for the .99 or whatever. If they have listed it close to where I want to end up and it is still under-priced, I spend the .25 and snipe it. I feel that is a small amount to pay for the service and my sleep!

Hang on - item is at 99p when you go to bed - I guess this is the starting price. You set the snipe up and win the item at 99p. Ergo, you're the only bidder, otherwise the price would rise.
Me, I'd save 25% and place a proxy bid before putting on my slippers and making the Horlicks...

R2 makes a good point, besides that, scrapbooking supplies are a dime a dozen so I would be just placing a proxy and going nye-nyes...stuff the Horlicks though...bloody awful stuff!!!

Paying an extra 25 cents on a 99 cent item just doesnt make sense to me (
