low bid email not correct

I had a snipe set on an auction of £8.00, and
got an e-mail to say

Your maximum bid is GBP8.00. The current minimum bid is GBP11.00 with 1 hour 53 mins left before the auction ends.

I went and updated my snipe to £15. After updating it I got another e-mail saying

quote:

Your maximum bid is GBP8.00. The current minimum bid is GBP11.00 with 1 hour 30 mins left before the auction ends.

Can someone tell me what that is all about? Why the second e-mail with the incorrect max snipe bid on it (£8.00 instead of £15)
