Lost Snipe ?

Hello,

I am new here and loving sniping! I won my first three snipes in the last couple of days. Tonight I lost my first snipe I knew I might loose this one because I was not willing to enter a high max bid. Anyway, my question is when I went to the ebay item it did not show my bid at all in the bid history. Does your bid not show up in this scenario?

Hi,

If your bid was lower than the existing high bid when your bid was placed, then it wouldn't show up in the bidding history. AS should have warned you that your bid was too low under those circumstances, both on the main snipe page and via e-mail.

There are a few other reasons that could have caused your snipe not to be placed:

1) You may have been top bidder, but your snipe was lower than the next ebay increment.

2) You may have used a low lead time or ebay experienced a hiccup.

3) Your AS balance is too low.

4) The seller has blocked you from bidding.

Could you supply the item number, snipe amount and lead time?
