Hi,

I am new to auction sniper. I have a bid group so I can get an item on ebay. I lost all of the auctions because auction sniper didn't bid in time. It was 5-7 different auctions.

So I'm trying again. I'm changing the lead time to 10 seconds. Any other advice so I will win this time?

Thank you,

If the auction ends on the quarter hour (00,15,30,45), make your lead time at least 30 seconds.

On busy days, like Sunday, you'll want at least 15 seconds and probably 45 on Sunday evening between 5:30pm & 8:30pm. That's when the traffic is the highest!

Read through the forums. There is alot of great advice out there. You can also do a search of the forums for the key words "lead time" and it will bring up any related messages.

Happy Sniping!

Also you lost because your bids were too low in 6 of the 7 auctions. And in 1 it was not in time. The bummer is that is the one you had the best shot at winning though it looks like. Well probably fur sure since the other 6 all resulted in you being outbid. Hopefully you'll win one in this next batch. There seems to be a lot of them on eBay and you have the right idea by using a bid group. I even see you smartly adjusted for shipping by bidding slightly less on ones with higher shipping charges so that you will always pay the same price once you win. I do the same. Unfortunately many buyers dont. They'll bid $10+6 shipping for something that they coulda bought for $12+2 shipping, saving $2 because the first seller was charging $6 instead of $2 for shipping. Happens all the time in the DVD where I buy a lot. You do a search and see a great price then you click it only to get mad because they're charging $5.95 shipping for something that ought to cost $1.95. But so many buyers fall for that junk that those sellers wont ever stop doing it.

Perhaps you were confused somehow. Just wanted you to know that it was only 1 not 7. And the rest were placed in time and have confirmations of such but you lost due to low bids.
