Longjevity of Archive Stored Info

Is there a size limit, or a period of time, of stored information for the archive or other file folders created? For those of us that are using the files for our bookkeeping system of purchases, it is imperative that we know if there is a size or time limit period that stored information is dropped from auction sniper system.
