This morning I had some issues trying to amend a snipe previously set-up. At first my attempt to connect on the edit snipe page constantly timed out. I was using the auctionsniper.com site, then I clicked on the Aussie flag and it worked. I changed my snipes and won the first transaction (the other is still a few days out).
When I just tried to go in to look for recent snipes, I had the same problem, constantly timing out. This time clicking on the flag did not help.
I am using Opera as my browser and never had any problems with the AS site before. I just checked and noticed that logging in via IE works fine.

Just wondering if AS changed anything in the last two months or since introducing the flags that affects the opera browser? While I can use the AS service via IE, I would prefer my Opera.

We use Mozilla and IE mainly. We dont have time to make things 100% work with everything out there so we dont test with every incarnation of every web browser.

I cant think of anything that would be opera incompatible. Is it happening 100% of the time? On all flags? What version of opera are you using etc?

The problem is this: 95% of people use IE, 4% Netscape or Mozilla, 1% opera. We try spending our time on stuff for the 99%. If it is easy then we will try and fix it.

Try clearing cache and temp files, delete cookies and so on. Solves alot of problems. Also, AS works on Java so make sure your install of Java hasnt gotten screwed up somewhere.
