I haven't tried the search feature in AS, so can't help there. Seems like I read most people prefer to search in ebay, then import to AS.

As for that, I also used to open two windows, then copy and paste items numbers, check details, etc. AS has two features that I know of that ended my awkward way of doing that. One is Import Wizard. Click on that feature and it brings in your ebay bidding and watching page. Bids are already marked with a check mark, watches are not, and all max bids are set to the next increment. You check the ones you want to snipe, uncheck the ones you don't, adjust amounts and lead time, add comments, like dimensions or shipping/handling fees, etc. then hit Import Snipes. Groovy!

Even easier, though, find the Snipe It Now! feature and click on that, then set that up as instructed by dragging the Snipe It Now function to your links or bookmark bar or what have you. (I'm on a Mac, so terminology may be different, not that I know much anyway. I just fumbled around the hard way until my kids rescue me!)Then, from the ebay listing page of an item you want, just click Snipe It Now! from the bar up there and fill in all that info into the window that opens up with the page right in front of you. Even groovier! Very cool!

(OK, it doesn't take much to make me happy, but I felt like a genius figuring that out before my husband did and showing it to him.)
