I had completely forgotten all about that! Since it's 2 days away, thanks for reminding me.
I searched past posts, and couldn't find anything - so no help there.
I have no previous experience with sniping on auctions for this promotion, but I'll throw out some ideas that might stimulate other discussion:
1) I don't "think" this will be as heavy a load on ebay as exact quarter-hour auctions, since so many of them can close at the same second.
2) I "think" this will have more traffic then Sunday night prime time.
3) For several months, there has been very few complaints about missed snipes due to low lead times. I "think" this is due to ebay improving response times, and AS' ever improving service.
4) We mostly agree that retaliatory snipes are very difficult to place within the final closing seconds of an auction.
5) I "think" somewhere between 8 and 15 seconds?
Just a bunch of think's, but if someone thinks they have other thinks, I think I'd like to hear them.
