Lead time snafu reducer

I keep seeing posts from people who missed snipes on account of the lead time and how busy the system was. Just a thought from little ol' me--how about some sort of chart for suggested lead times based on the time of day, day of the week, holidays, etc.? It could be placed in some obvious place where people could see it and possibly cut down on some frustrations. Now granted, not everybody would actually READ the thing--but something like that might help. I'd be interested in seeing something like that for my own use, too.

That's a great idea, Christine! I'll bet the AS support staff could whip together a guideline chart in short order. It wouldn't have to be exact, or always be correct, but it would give some folks a sense of what they might run into on eBay, and when.

Just watch, though -- we'll get a chart like that and someone will complain that he set his snipe to be placed with 30 seconds left, in accordance with the chart, and somebody outbid him with 5 seconds to go.
