Now THIS is an interesting approach! As posted in some other topics, some snipers express OUTRAGE 
when AS auto adjusts their lead times in order for them to be placed.
BUT, if you set your lead time impossibly short, would that not force AS to adjust the lead times for ALL your snipes in order for them to be placed?
Or would ALL of them end up being "Not in Time"?
Does AS do lead time auto adjusts ONLY during ebay slow times, OR anytime AS determines ebay reponse time exceeds the user-set lead time?
Lately, it seems the complaining snipers about early placed snipes have all stated their SET lead was 5 seconds. Is there something significant about the 5-sec. lead time -- is it some threshold of some type for the AS program? Or is that just coincidence?

Jabber, glad you found it interesting! I could not make heads or tails out of it!
Everyone has his or her idea about what is the perfect lead time. However I have found that that the advise given by AS is not always consistant either.
Perhaps the best approach is to throw your hat in the air and where it lands...

Or... Set your lead time to 1-2 sec. That way you will get pushed out to 5-10!

ive just lost faith in AS. I lost a bid with it on my first time to a proxy bidder or a higher maximum bid.

I have only two comments:
a) if you lost to a proxy it's because their maximum bid was higher
b) if you set your lead to 1 sec in orde to lose and to claim free snipes, hmmm - my idea to use AS is to win my bids and not to claim free snipes.

i don't kno how you guys do it
but now im sad
my nest item (an R/C helicopter) won't slip through my fingers
im going proxy as im loosing faith in the sniper system.
