Latest AS not for Windows-95 and what happened to AS Link?

Just spent about 1-1/2 hours downloading latest version of Auction Sniper when to my dismay, screen came up saying I have to upgrade to Windows 98 or better! Sure wish the powers that be had posted a flag to that effect before I began the download.

To add insult to injury, I downloaded the newer version thinking it might "fix" the loss of the shortcut that had been on my Links bar. Does anybody know why the shortcut's been removed? It made it so easy to put snipes in right from the eBay page and I don't know how to get it back!

I've e-mailed Customer Support but help from any source would be appreciated.
