Language related bug

Though a Swedish citizen, I dont want to use the Swedish language on this site. Well, that shouldn't be no problem. Just choose another language, right??? Wrong! It doesn't work,
even though I choose "English", I still get Swedish language on the pages. On top of that, it's a mix of Swedish and English...I though, well, lets try to log out, close the web browser and log in again...It still doesn't work.
Can one of the admins on this site please check what's going on? I do understand Swedish, but I don't really like it to be mixed the way it seems to be, and I want to be able to change the language option.
