Hi everyone

I just wanted to thank the great people in this forum. I was sniped last week for the first time, then lost my next auction on the same item waiting too long in a manual snipe attempt. I've been on a mad hunt to ensure it didn't happen again. I searched the web, found many snipe services and programs and thought I would go with another UNTIL I visited these forums. You guys rock! Big Grin Not only have I learned a lot about sniping but about ebay in a short time. My next snipe is set up for 2.5 hrs from now, and I can relax. Although the adrenaline rush of winning on ebay could prove to be as bad as when I'm in the casinos! Wink

thanks again

Christy

thanks for the welcome!

Rick: Western like Steamboat or Pagosa Springs ideally, unless we find something better. I want to be able to be close enough to snowboarding but far away enough to not see anyone else's house!
You familiar with CO?

Steve - I learned about padding from you already by reading one of your other posts! I did some research on the current bidders and figured they'd be last minute. And the item wasn't crucial to me. So I was happily outbid. And someone here pointed out usually items will turn up again, so I am still relaxed!

Rick - you have a fav spot in CO? Vegas doen't get a lot of snow Wink so I have to live vicariously thru others!

thanks Christy
Christy,

My loyalty lies with the Front Range.

7-digit income will get you into Steamboat. Higher elevation will require 8, or more likely 9-digit.

CO is in a 4-year drought. WATER RESTRICTIONS!

When did you last live in CO, and where were you living? If it’s been more than 10 years, YOU WON’T RECONDIZE THE PLACE.

Have you seen DIA vs. Stapleton?
Been here 2.5 yrs, parents still in Denver so I get back every so often. I was there for DIA, with all it's downsides, still has a remarkable view on your way in before you hit I-70.

Drought doesn't bug me, we are looking to do some very creative things when we build like straw bale and water reclamation(sp?) We're in the process of "desert landscaping" here and it's not so bad.

You a hockey fan? GO AVALANCHE!!

Peter Forsberg you're my hero.
