I had an auction scheduled to end at 1800 today. I placed the snipe at 10 seconds lead time and expected AS to place the bid earlier than that, as they usually do, to accomodate to the busy/busy/busy time on Sun evenings. We both missed the mark, sadly, and the item I wanted sold for less than I had scheduled at AS and without my bid listed (duh).

I AM bummed out at the missed win. Major bummed out. But it is only the second time in my 3-4 years on AS that this has happened.

'bummed out' - great expression although probably a slightly different meaning here in the UK.

Seems AS had a problem (it happens occasionally) this Sunday - you guys need to click on the HELP tab and log a support call - supply ID and Auction number(s) and I'm sure they'll let you know what happened. Please let us know too!

It ended for $255.00 is what happened. Sorry bud, you needed to bid at least another $225 more than you did to even have a shot at it.
