item auction was extended 1 more day; how can I up my bid and snipe again

Can you delete the snipe, then re-add it? Or, try re-importing it?

When i check the item and delete it i get
"Your Snipe could not be cancelled at this time."

Bummer. Sounds like AS is not liking this. I've never seen an auction extended, so that sounds strange.

Can't think of a "work around".

Thanks for info; i did also try re-importing but it just keeps original information with 8/20 date. I don't know how i might have gotten the wrong 'end-date' for the auction. I imported the item to start with so it took the 'end' from e-bay. Also put in a case for support.

I doubt this will work, but try moving the snipe to another folder. Then maybe it will let you delete the folder?

made a folder called trash; moved it there; tried to re-add by item # & by import; says i'm already sniping it. guess i wasn't meant to have this item; it's just a pair of running shoes. oh well.

Did you try deleting the "trash" folder with the screwy snipe in it?

Just tried deleting trash... got ...Can't delete the folder, at least one of snipes in this folder can't be cancelled, please try it later.
I'll let you know what support says.

I wonder if "Update items info" would reset the closing date?

We'll be extending items that were extended by eBay and your snipe will be place again tonight.

Come back later today and modify our bid price once we've extended the items it will show up in your My Snipes list as ready.

Any chance this udpate will take place by 9:02 pm PDT tonight?

Sounds like it has everything to do with eBay's power failure last night, that's the only reason I can think of for an auction extension. Lots of angry sellers out there. (and Snipers too)
