Is "Out of Time" Due to Timezones? | Auction Sniper

I'm in the London timezone PLUS we're in Summer Time.

I recently lost an auction due to "Out of Time" but it was a www.ebay.com auction not a www.ebay.co.uk one!

Might this cause the problem or is AuctionSniper clever enough to know which timezone you are in AND which timezone the auction is in?

Just a thought.

nope - AS cares not a jot about timezones - in fact, us Brits are just a nuisance to the Yank programmers who haven't grasped that life beyond their shores isn't just sandy and full of camels as they see in the newsreels!

AS counts back from the auction end so your out-of-time may just be due to a too-short lead time or network/server problems. Log a support call via Help tab and maybe get some free snipes!

AS have had some DNS issue (at least that's what they told me)

Out of Time & Bid Too Late events have hit me 4/4 snipes this past week........
