I used to do that too; automatically looking at "Seller's other auctions" until I had the same realization that you had. Now I will occasionally look at their other auctions if it is an extremely unique item, however, I look through much more 'hardened eyes' in determining whether I really need and/or want additional items they are offering. And rarely, if ever, do I buy additional things that way.
Any of the multiple auctions that I now win, through a single seller, are all items that were found during searches, or if/when I am familiar with the seller and their particular items.
