Hello to all:

I reported my "searches" not working back in July (see posting below). As of today they are still not working. I have gone as far as deleting all of my old searches and setting up a few new "test" searches. These too do not seem to work as I have not received ANY emails from AS. I did try eBay searches and found them very inadequate. My question to the community is: Does anyone else have problems with their searches? I don't know what to do at this point but to try requesting support on this issue one last time before moving to a different service (after several years of using AS). If anyone can recommend any other services that offer similar functionality and value as AS, please email me offline.

Thanks in advance,

Don't use AS searches myself, but yes, others are having problems too. We've been promised a re-write of the programming, but that could be some time in the making.

Just wondering, what search can't you do at eBay? (that's all I use)

As for other services, you may not get an answer since this is a forum supported and paid for by AS. Just doesn't seem fair. Wink
Yes, the searches at Buying Manager are the best out there. More info than eBay and many more features.

We'll be revamping our searches here in September. Along with the many other features we've been working on.

Over the past few weeks we've made some good behind the scenes changes too that have enhanced bidding reliablity. We're also going to try lowering the peak time leads again in the next week or so to a max of about 20 seconds. We're testing it slowly on quarter hours just outside the main peaks and will adjust inwards to cover the peaks as well provide more snipes aren't missed.

Now that's what support is all about. No patronising comments. No glib put-downs. Excellent. Why couldn't all Sara's replies be this civil?
