The message I got from AS was that my bid could not be placed beacuse of Invalid User/Pass. However, my bid was placed by AS and I won (yea!) So, why the message?
P.S. my password/user has not been changed.

Your user/password ID hasn't been changed either on eBay or on AS? 
Nope. No changes to AS or Ebay
AS may be having temporary difficulties. I suggest you file a support request at http://support.auctionsniper.com/. Hope the AS tech support folks can help you.
ebay doesnt allow you to use your email address to sign in anymore. Thus we can no longer user it to snipe for you either.
You probably use an email address for your eBay Id.

Click the My Snipes tab
Click the Modify Account link
change your eBay Userid, scroll to the bottom of the modify account page, and click the button to submit your changes.

Make sure you change your userid on eBay, too.
