L-O-V-E the Itty Bitty Anti-Sniper Committee pic! The NPB excuses also had me rolling.

They missed my all-time favorite;
"My basement flooded and the item was destroyed"
Yeah right!
Glad I found AS, and this forum.....
AS is a good tool, and the forum gives a lot of good advice.

Love the post! I've never sold on E-Bay, but have heard a few of those "reasons" from sellers.

One guy told me, that his dog ate jersey I won. I told him, that dogs eat only homework...

And then only algebra and essay homework. Dogs are highly selective when it comes to eating homework. I had a Great Dane once that would only eat essays about Hamlet.

I don't know about that. My Boston Terrier are a Brillo-type scrub pad a few months ago. Had to call the vet. He eats newspapers, too. And he'll be seven years old this summer!

Does he like baked beans, scrod, and Boston Cream Pie too? Those would be a lot easier on his digestive tract than a Brillo-type pad. Well...maybe not the baked beans.

Of course. All dogs love people food, because they truly believe they're people. (scrod?? What's that? It sounds like a type of missile.)
Oooh I love it...! *** HA HA HAAAAHA***
Hey, I didn't answer fordfalcons' question about scrod! No, it's not the past perfect tense of a common vulgarism. It's something that only a New Englander could consider to be a delicacy: young codfish. Now, don't get me started on codfish balls.
Thanks for the info, Steve. Fresh fish isn't something you see much of out here. I heard they eat strange things like oysters and squid back east but never heard of scrod before. You learn something every day. (munching on nachos and sharing them with the dog)....

Is that a pun on Rocky Mountain oysters?
