after winning an auction i puchased shipping insurance from AS. i wanted to send confirmation to seller but when i tried the AS format said requiered field must be filled in but does not say what info they are looking for. if it is the sellers e-mail address i dont have it but AS should be able to send confirmation from item nr which it has on confirmation format.do you know what they are looking for....thanks phil

I just won so I can see what P's on about. It says:
Send an email for proof of insurance to the seller of your item. Email will be sent on your behalf using your current AS email address and will consist of the exact information displayed above.
Not hard to guess that the box is for the email address (I checked and it sent me an email).
Problem solved. (One thing I learnt in my IT career is to try things to see what happens - it's rare that anyone is maimed or killed!) Wink

well since i dont have a copy of the winning message i will take your word for it and check next time. i will type in my e-mail address for this ONE so that i have a copy of the confirmation. i guess the seller realy dont need a confirmation since if anything happens the claim goes to AS INSTEAD OF THE SELLER OR SHIPPER. IS THAT RIGHT...PHIL
