Sounds like you figured it out. Someone else had a problem: >> here <<
P.S. Donovan J. (posted to that thread) works for AS - everyone else are users.
I must be having a Senior Moment because the url you pointed me to gives the rates and other sales & claims stuff but NO pointer as to how to actually add insurance after the sale. Try again for me please. Thanks
I'm trying to add insurance after I've won an auction. I've clicked Modify on My Snipes page and added the option of insurance so now what? HOw do I pay for my auction and how do I make sure I've got the insurance coverage that's offered though AS? I'm sure this is clearly speeled out somewhere but I can't find it. Thanks much,
Wow. I can't believe the FAQ doesn't have a question for "How do I add insurance to an item?". I'll get that added.
Aimee43 -- You should pay for your item just like you pay for any item you win on eBay, by making a payment to the seller. The shipping insurance that you've selected will be paid for seperately to Auctionsniper. This will be collected monthly, just like your normal sniping fees are collected.
Also, if you need proof of insurance for the seller, visit the modify snipe page again and select the link for "Insurance Confirmation". That will allow you to send an email or print out a copy of your proof of insurance.
