I think if I were in your shoes, and if I was going to be around, and if it’s an important item, I’d probably do a manual snipe. Some clock got messed up yesterday, and the problem you are seeing could be a fall out.

Don’t know if this will help, but I can’t believe it will hurt: try clicking on “Update Prices” on “My Snipes” page. Maybe that will reset the end time.
Perhaps my problem is similar. My clock displays a normal & accurate countdown under the "ends" column up until a few hours before the snipe. Then it displays only a negative value between 10 and 50 seconds. Refreshing, punching the "update prices" or modifying the snipe all have no effect.

e.g. right now for an item ending in 30 minutes it shows "-46s undefined" in the "ends" column.

I'm not sure if the snipes are going through, but I'm going to do them manually I suppose. I really can't risk it on these.

Haven't had any problems with reliability so far on this site in the last 6 months, I remember some missed snipes a while ago but that was due to a really short delay time.

Thanks for the reply. I have one ending tonight, so I'll check then it if still displays random negative numbers from a few hours before the end on up. Am I the only one who has this problem?
I actually think this is still somewhat of a problem for anyone not viewing the US (english) version of the site. I've noticed the time being off by up to 24 hours.

HOWEVER, some people seem to think that the time countdown in the browser has to do with when the snipe is placed. It doesn't. It is just a nice little graphical countdown of the time, nothing more. Even if it is off by 300 days, the snipe will still get placed when it should.

So there isn't any need to "manually" snipe an item just because your browser says it is 300 days to ending. All that means is that the html countdown code is still broken.
