I just missed a Snipe and the reason given was "Invalid UserId/Pass." After checking both my Ebay ID and P/W with what was entered into the Auction Sniper, it was identical... proof of this is this computer has a password and form filling management software (Roboform) that has never failed me in 4 years. What should I do now to avoid missing future Snipes?
I could better handle other reasons I could not verify, such as Internet Traffic or load.

Hi wesleymc2,

Sorry about the confusion. The reason this erroneous message was returned is because eBay's sign-in servers were exhibiting some undesireable technical problems that caused many of our sign-in attempts to be rejected even though we were submitting the correct information. This problem appears to have lasted from about 6:48 PM PT to 8:55 PM PT last night.

Since you have verified your username and password stored within your Auction Sniper account match your current eBay information, your future snipes should be placed successfully without requiring you to do anything differently.

I lost one last night too. Second time in a month. You can raise a support case if you like but all AuctionSniper will tell you is that it's eBay's fault and so "tough". Don't expect any compensation.

Have also written to eBay but they're not admitting anything.

What bothers me, is that I've been using AuctionSniper for years - and this problem is new to me. Had a few glitches before but it's now happening more and more often.

Such a pity.
