We didnt miss anything, we sniped. eBay F'd up. THERE ISN'T ANYTHING WE CAN DO. We sniped, eBay ate crap.

Maybe eBay motors is on the spritz. The one thing I've noticed is that all your snipes are in eBay motors. And even the snipe where you won, eBay still gave us back the "Unknown error" message which you can see in that snipe confirmation. AND FOR SURE WE SNIPED. Because you won with 8 seconds left. So as you can see, just because it says unknown error doesnt mean we didnt snipe. ARG. I cant understand eBay and how they could have these problems with the billions of bucks they take in ever year.

We're sniping. Sometimes they got through, sometimes they didnt but all gave that bogus unknown error message.

I am just frustrated. So please don't take it personal. And I am a little confused here, I could not find the snipe confirmation for the item I won showing the "Unknown error" message. Could you please tell me specifically how to find this error message for the item I did win? Thanks!
I'm frustrated too. I had the programmers check into it. Nothing out of the ordinary found besides what I found.

Let me know what happens with the current snipe you have in the system.

At least we know to keep our eyes out. Sometimes things like this end up coming around full cirle and we find a work around or something because we know about them in the back of our minds and something else bumps us into an answer. For example maybe it's just 1 of eBays computers and there may be a way to not send bids to that one, etc.

We'll see.
I posted a query with support 4 days (Feb 2) ago about a missed snipe, and have yet to receive any response other than a notation saying "proposed solution offered" yet no further information, no link to any proposed solution, no email response containing a solution, and not even a link or mention to look here.

The only information concerning the snipe's failure was in the normal message I receive when a snipe has occured. It included the following link to a supposed eBay response to my snipe: http://www.auctionsniper.com/SnipeConfirmation.aspx?sid=3304358. Mad

I went to the site Sara has occasionally mentioned which offers free snipes. My missed snipe was set at 5 seconds, so I could receive two free snipes - two free chances for more misses? Before I accept any such offer, I'd need an response to my request for information. A customer deserves at least that much.
