Import Wizard only goes to 30 watching items

The eBay 2.0 Beta is causing all kinds of havoc for me. I have lost 3 bids today - all 3 came up with "Did not Win", yet the winning bidder was 5 dollars below my high bid!!! I just switched back to the original My EBay and set my snipe time to 30 seconds (it was on 2 seconds before and working perfectly). I'll report back if this works.

Well that was a big waste of time. I just lost 3 auctions because AuctionSniper never sniped!!! They ALL ended over $5 below my maximum!!!

I am not happy with Auction Sniper at all right now

What was the message you got from AS?

You have a couple of options - you could put in a support call via the HELP tab (above) or publish the item numbers for the forum to look at and maybe advise you...

The AS message simply states "Did Not Win" with no explanation. I assumed it was because eBay itself was slow so I set my swipe time to 30 seconds (up from 2 seconds). On item 3095315586 I set the swipe time to 60 seconds and it still did not swipe.

Any help would be appreciated.

Were you re-using a bid group and didn't increase the number to win? Go to your 'My Snipes' page and click on 'manage bid groups'. Each bid group has a couple of numbers, like 1 of 1, or 0 of 1. What does yours say?

Best to delete old bid groups, and not reuse them. Create a new one for each item you want to win.

If that's not the problem, no other advise here... except be sure to visit >THIS< link.

I was using a BidGroup that had other identical items already in it. And no, I did not increase the number because I had "1 of 3" - therefore it should have tried to win twice more before it stopped. I will try what you suggested and create a new bidgroup - but that kind of defeats the purpore (for me) because of the final number I want to win.

If you'll notice one of your losses doesnt have a status. Item #3095106171

Your bid group was working properly until then. My guess is that because that item doesnt have a status we're not able to bid on additional bid group items. I'm asking a programmer to fix that status, and also see about fixing that as a possible bug. It seems to me that since you wanted 3 of that item and had won only 1 that we could still have bid on those items even not knowing the status of 1 item since you wanted 3. Of course once you won the second item you still would have had the problem, but at least you would have won the second before it happened...

Thank you. Yes, I did notice that one of them did not have a status field. Also, thank you for the clarification. Hope it's a minor hiccup.

Papu Papu, By reusing a bidgroup, I meant something a little different. What you were trying to do should have been fine.

Some try to win one item, and once they have won it, attempt to reuse the same folder for a totally different item by bumping up the number to win. That is what I was advising against.

I should mention you can fix this problem yourself by creating a new bid group set to win just 2 items, then start putting all the items you want in there. That at least will work until the programmer fixes that item with the messed up status.
