If I am current high bidder will AS still do it's thing?

Just curious if I am currently the leading bidder and I have also activated AS will it still place my bid at the lead time I set just in case someone else tries to get in before the last couple seconds?

So say I am current high bidder at say 105 and I have max of say 125 on bids placed through ebay.

I then have AS set to snipe at 8 seconds left for say a higher 150? will it still bid if I am current high and just outbid and up my own bid to 126 and win it with AS?

Just don't want to up the price on myself with no need.

No. AS always bids your maximum amount, which in your example, will only increase your ebay proxy bid. You'll still win at 105. You can't bid up you own manual bid, unless you were winning by less than an increment.
