Actually, I was out in it this morning, even went to the beach (on company time, too); sunny, breezy and comfortably warm, maybe low 80s. Oh , the boss was in the van also.
In all ways, a perfect day.

Dave, ahhhh, yes, I do recall the tradewinds in your area! I was raised there. It is much hotter feeling here. Naples is beautiful, but I find the summer unbearable!

I am leaving mid AM tomorrow for the cooler north!

Bring your canoe and paddles if you are coming up here.

Mg, yes , I have been watchng the weather. I will be visiting in Tennessee first. Hope the weather straightens out by the time I leave there! If Bob holds up ok, I am thinking of going the southern route west to Ca. to visit relatives and friends and then coming back north, all the way to the east coast and then visit friends in NY and NC. Just have to see how things go. It will just be the two of us this time, so I have my fingers crossed.

I will be leaving town next week and will be traveling for a month. I hope to pop in here at least once in a while, but it will not be anything like I normally do. (Even my sniping will be little or nothing.) I will be back on the Fourth of July, ready to wave the flag.

Mrs. M...Hope you and Bob have a good trip. So your coming to sunny Ca. Hope you relatives live near the ocean or the mountains. Our hottest day so far this year was 98 degrees but for the most part the weather hasn't been that unbearable.

We are currently packing up to move into our lovely ole Homestead. Well, we will be once we rip the carpets up and replace a couple of floorboards then polish them.

Also have to paint, bugger, it will be another month before we move in!

Its a lovely 95 yr old place though with 14 foot ceilings. I love old houses
