Everyone of my auctions have gone through - I haven't won all of them, but that was because I wasn't willing to spend the money that someone else was.

I'm VERY happy with AS!

But - make sure you put the maximum you're willing to spend in your snipe, and if you really want to make sure the snipe is placed, give it a little more time. For things I really want, and during peak times I use 8 seconds, otherwise I use 5 seconds.

I'm even more conservative than steve young: I use 8 seconds as my regular snipe interval, and 30 seconds at peak hours of eBay use such as Sunday evenings. Also, during peak times I'll check eBay to see how fast it is (or isn't) going and if it's really slow I'll extend my snipe to 60 seconds.

Like the "other steve" I don't win all of my auctions, but I don't lose any because my bid wasn't placed in time. Big Grin
