I love this joint! !

It's gotten to the point with me where I set up my snipes and literally forget all about 'em. It comes as a small but pleasant surprise every time I get the notice that I won.

Ya I got one of those today. Completely forgot that I'd set up a bunch of snipes a week ago to have daily tries at a set of bike lights that a seller puts up one-set-per-day. Since I was playing with him every day and not in a rush for the lights I set my AS bids very low so usually did not enter the bidding because my bid was too low when AS came to place it. But today I was sitting at my PC when "ebay item won!" rolled in unannounced, pleasing me greatly ... seems like the rest of the world forgot to bid on the bike lights today ... so I got 'em for £4, the bike shop down the road from me sells the same set for £20!

Does anybody know whether there's any other sniper software that offers bid groups? It seems to me that's an unbeatable combination for the type of situation IanN describes. (And congrats on the cool win, fella! )

Of the other sniper services that I checked out, NONE of them had bid groups.

the best benefit to me so far is to make me place my real max, and to let me walk away from the bid after that and not get sucked into bidding wars.

And that is sooooooooo easy to do, sniperhippo. Amen!
