Well given my experience of support within the past 24 hours (and I went there first) I would not be confident of any suspicions being allayed.
Most disappointed with their fobbing off approach.

region2, I appreciate your supporting AS, but something is seriously wrong at the moment. In the last few days I have had 7 items not win, and in ALL cases, I should have won the auction. All of them are in bidgroups. The results are:
Well, I went to check the items that failed, and lo and behold, they have been removed from my snipe list. Nice. Luckily I still have a cached copy. 4 "Not in time", 2 "Did not win" (even though my max bid was enough to win), and 1 "Unresolved Bidgroup Item". This is for three different bidgroups, and 2 of them I should have one the first item, but didn't for the reasons listed above.
I did not modify any of them less than 5 minutes before auction, most are placed days in advance, my ebay login is correct, I can see no reason why they failed.
I have been using AS for 4 years, so I am not a noob, I know what I am doing. I have had this issue previously, and not had a very good explanation from support. For the current items, I am currently in 'pass the buck mode' from support.
If I don't get a decent answer in a few hours I will be switching to bidnapper.com. More expensive, but it may be worth if it actually works.

Thanks for the update Mike, glad to hear it was something relatively simple to fix, and that I didn't miss anything too important.
